Bonnie Savoy, DDS

Dr. Bonnie Savoy is a native Texan. She was born and raised in Houston, Texas.

She graduated cum laude from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in biology and worked in Cancer Research at M.D. Anderson Hospital before entering the University of Texas School of Dentistry Houston. Upon graduation, she served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Crown and Bridge Department at UTDB in Houston. Dr. Savoy counts her blessings to still be able to grow and love her 37th year in dentistry.

Dr. Savoy has received numerous awards for her professional accomplishments. She has been honored with the Southwest Society of Prosthodontics Award, Mosby Scholarship Book Award, National Academy of General Dentistry Award, Texas Academy of General Dentistry Award and election to Omicron Kappa Upsilon. In 2018 she achieved Life Membership status in the Texas Dental Association. 2019 marks 11 years that she has met all requirements and has been selected as one of America's Top Dentists by Consumers' Research Counsel of America.

Dr. Savoy had been active in organized dentistry for many years. She served as chairperson for the Membership and Retention and Dental Health Committees. She has served as a Board Member and Director for the society, as a Delegate to the Texas Dental Association House of Delegates, as a member of the GHDS Peer Review Committee, as a member of the University of Texas Dental Branch Alumni Association, a member of the Texas Dental Association, American Dental Association and a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honorary Dental Fraternity. Dr. Savoy was presented with the Presidents Award of the Greater Houston Dental Society for her dedicated service to the society. Dr. Savoy is an active advocate of disease prevention. She actively pursues continuing educational opportunities with a special focus on cavity prevention and smile design courses including Invisalign, Lumineers, and engineered esthetics using ceramics.

When Dr. Savoy is not in her office, she enjoys photography, fellowship with church friends, travel, and spending as much time as possible with family and grandchildren.
